30th Annual St Johns River Cleanup
Volunteers Needed, Including Boat Owners
Help clean 59 miles of the St. Johns River and surrounding basin. All ages welcome. Scouts, schools, and community groups are encouraged to join.
Join us on April 18, 2026 from 8AM to 11AM for the St. Johns River Cleanup, a community-wide effort to help restore local parks, trails, and riverbanks.
As a thank-you, volunteers will receive a free giveaway. Adults will receive a travel mug and youth will receive a stuffed bald eagle.

The annual cleanup, coordinated by Volusia County’s Environmental Management Division, draws attention to the river’s environmental importance and helps to keep the waterway safe and clean for animals and people who enjoy swimming and water sports.
